April Vacation Camps

We’re in the process of updating this vacation camps list for 2018 and hope to have it completed by early March! In the mean time, check the dates carefully for 2017 vs. 2018 information



Lil’ Folk Farm (Ages 6-16)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/20/17 (Tu-Th). $250

Times: 8:30-12:30pm

Activities: Beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders separated by riding level. Also grooming, tacking, care, feeding, training techniques, and driving with miniature horses.

October Farms (via Rec Dept) (Ages 8+)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/21/17 (Tu-F)

Times: 9-Noon ($200)

Activities: Horsemanship introduction. Learn horse handling, care, and riding.

Tennis via Rec Department (Grades K-2)

Dates: 4/28 – 4/20/17 (Tu-Th)

Times: 2-3pm (Grades K-2) or 3-4pm (Grades 3-5)

Activities: Learn the fundamentals of tennis: forehand, backhand, volleys, overheads and serves (at Goodwill Park Tennis Courts)

Shen’s Gymnastics Academy (Ages 3.5-12)

Dates: 4/17 to 4/21/17 (M-F)

Times:  9AM-3PM ($69/day or $285 full week) (AM Option) (Ext by the hour)

Activities: Trampoline, zip-line, foam pit, bouncy house, recreational games, arts & crafts, and instructor-led gymnastics. Boys and girls.

Cheryl Cohen Mosaics (Grades 3-12)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/19/17 (Tu-Wed)

Times: 2-5 PM ($120)

Activities: Beginners start by making a coaster and smashed plate frame. Experienced students make a mixed-media scene.


Super Sports via Community Ed (Grades 1-4)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/20/17 (Tu-Th)

Times: 9 AM – 3 PM ($95)

Activities: F.A.S.T Athletics leads children in shooting hoops, playing catch, running, and playing a variety of games.

Flipside Gymnastics (Ages 3+)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/20/17 (Tu-Th)

Times: 9 AM – 3 PM

Activities: Gymnastics, fitness, themed crafts, and lots of games



Supersports Clinic via Recreation Dept (Ages 7-12)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/21 (Tu-Fri)

Times: 9 AM – 3 PM ($125 or $45/day)

Activities: Traditional and “wacky” games including dodgeball, soccer, and baseball/softball



April Vacation Skills and Drills (via School Use) (Grades 1-8)

Dates: 4/17 – 4/21/17 (M-F)

Times: 9-2 (Tu-F) or 9-Noon (M-F)

Activites: Boys and girls learn skills/drills and develop fundamentals of basketball

Kidding Around Yoga (via School Use) (Grades K-4)

Dates: April 17-21, 2017 (M-F)

Times: 9 AM – 12 PM ($150)

Description: Yoga and games, crafts, relaxation time



Hopkinton Center for the Arts (Ages 4-18)

Absolute Yoga (Ages 3-8)

Times: 1:30 – 3:30 PM ($25/day)

Activities: Yoga, crafts, meditation, group activities, and more.




Maplegate Country Club (Ages 9-16)

Dates: 4/16 – 4/19/17 (M-Th) ($325)

Time: 11 AM – 4 PM

Activities: Intense golf instruction, including video instruction and championship tournament.


Franklin Bernon YMCA (Ages 10-17)

Dates: 4/20/17

Times: Starts at 9:30 am. $68 nonmember

Details: Rock On! For active teens interested in rock climbing.

Adirondack Club (Ages 5-12)

Dates: 4/16 – 4/20/17 (M-F), $80/day nonmember ($90 Wednesday)

Times: 9 AM – 4 PM (Ext Day 7:30-6)

Activities: Tennis, daily swim, science, cooking snacks, outdoor time, art/craft, board games, Wednesday field trip



Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary (Ages 5-10)

Dates: 4/18- 4/21/2017 (Tu-F), $55/day nonmember

Times: 9 AM – 3:30 PM

Activities: Tuesday = Fantastic Flying Machines; Wednesday = April Showers; Thursday = Weird Science; Friday = Night Stalkers

Lucky Ducky Daycare (Ages 5 – 12)

Dates: 4/17 – 4/21/16 (M-F)

PreK: (Tu-Fri only) Arts and crafts, outdoor play, local field trips. $28/day. 8:30am – 12:30pm

Grades K-5: (M-F) Games, yoga, air hockey, scrap booking, game consoles, field trips. $31.50/day. 1 PM – 5:30 PM

Norfolk Equestrian (via Rec Dept) (Ages 5-16)

Dates: 4/17 – 4/20/17 (M-Th)

Times: 9-2 (or AM option)

Activities: First-time and experienced riders have lessons on riding and horse care.

NCTV Stop Motion Animation (via Rec Dept) (Ages 9-12)

Dates: 4/17 – 4/21/17 (M-F)

Times: 1-3pm

Activities: Learn storyboarding and planning, set design and creation, stop motion animation, filming, sound effect creation, and basic editing.

fungineers (Ages 5+)

Dates: 4/17 – 4/21/17 (M-F)

Times: Various 90-minute classes throughout the week

Activities: Website Design (ages 10+), Obstacle-avoiding robot (7+), Room Security (7+), LEGO WeDo Robotics (7+), Bristlebots (Ages 5+), Minecraft (8+), and Foam Glider (7+).



My Gym, Theme Camp (Ages 2.5 – 9)
  • Dates: 4/16 – 4/20/18
  • Times: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM (4/16-4/20)
  •             1:00-4:00 PM (4/16-19)
  • Lunch Bunch 12:00pm-1:00pm (4/16-4/19)
  • $40/day (discounts for siblings and for members)
  • Activities: Games, relays, sports, puppets, gymnastics, arts and crafts, story time, etc. Potty training NOT REQUIRED!
Medfield Recreation (Ages 4-8)
  • Dates: 4/17 – 4/20/18 (Tu-F)
  • Times: 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Activities: “Kids ages 4-8 will join us at the Pfaff Center as they experience a typical 1/2 day of our Summer Discovery Camp! Participants will enjoy a wide variety of crafts, games, and exciting activities.”



Sweet Meadow Farm (Ages 4-13)

Dates: 4/16 to 4/20/18 (M-F)

Times and Activities:

(Ages 4-8) Jr. Barn Buddies, 9AM – Noon. Students spend their time learning about the various animals in our animal science barn. There is no horseback riding included in this program. $295/week.

(Ages 4-8) Ponies and Pets, 9AM – 3PM. Students in this program each receive a pony ride and learn the basics of riding with on of our instructors. $425/week.

(Ages 4-13) Riding Program, 9 AM – 3 PM. Each student receives a private riding lesson on one of our gentle school horses with one of our well-trained instructors.  $625/week.

Sherborn Rec Baseball Clinic (Ages 9-12)

Dates: 4/17  to 4/20/18 (Tu-F)

Times: 9-12 ($150/wk or $40/day)

Activities: This program is designed to get players ready for the upcoming spring baseball season.  Players will work on fielding, hitting, pitching, throwing and base running/strategy throughout the week. This clinic is run for Sherborn Rec by the baseball experts at Metro West Sportscenter.



Ashland Recreation Center (Grades K-5)

Dates: 4/18 – 4/21/17 (Tu-Fri)

Times: 8-4 ($220/wk)

Activities: Daily trips to museums, zoos, and rec facilities

S.E.T School of Metrowest (Grades 1-12)

Dates: 4/13 & 4/17 – 4/20/18 (F, Tu-F)

Times: 9 AM – 4 PM (Ext 8:15 – 6 PM)

Activities: Morning is STEM (Rockets, Weird Botany,  Bees, Cambrian Cuties, Mars) and afternoon is LEGO Contraptions/Animation

Metrowest Sports Center (2 Options) (Ages 9-12)

Dates: April 17-20 (Tu-F) [2018]

Times: Football, 12PM – 2PM              Baseball, 9AM – 12PM

Activities: Football OR Baseball – Players will work on fielding, hitting, pitching, throwing and base running/strategy throughout the week.
